I’ve been feeling very patriotic lately, so I decided to design this Canada flag pillow pattern. I want to share it so those feeling like I do can show their Canadian pride too!!!

I made it all in one colour so it can just blend in with my decor, but it can most definitely be made to have all the knit stitches in red!
This pattern features the just Knit & Purl stitches.
It fits a 12″ x 20 inch pillow form.

Easy Knit Pillow Project!
This is a great pattern for the novice knitter or a quick project for an experienced knitter!
I hope you enjoy making this pattern!
SUPPLIES
-Super Bulky yarn (6) Approximately 22o yards
-9 mm knitting needles
-pillow form 12″ x 20″

NOTES
The pillow cover is made in 2 pieces, the front & the back.
The front has the flag on it made by using Knit & Purl stitches while the back is plain with no design and done all in Knit stitches
Once the front and back are done, you will sew up 3 sides to your pillow, then stuff with the pillow form and then finish sewing up the last side.
PATTERN
Front
Cast on 55 sts. Work the stitch pattern chart below.

Bind off loosely.
Back
Cast on 55 sts. Work in Stockinette Stitch for 43 rows. Bind off loosely.
Block to shape if you like. I did and it made it easier when sewing the front to the back. If you don’t have blocking mats you can use towels and sewing pins.

Sew the front to the back while fitting the pillow form in as you go.

I hope you enjoy this free pattern!
